The Red Hank

I found a skein of yarn at the edge of the tree line today. It’s a deep crimson, almost like dried blood, but the texture is... off. It feels like silk, yet it's cold to the touch. I've started casting on a new project. I hope it doesn't unravel by morning.

Static in the Pines

The radio has been acting up again. Just static and what sounds like someone dragging a heavy chain across a wooden floor. I tried to tune it out by working on my "Fog-Walker" scarf, but I dropped three stitches in a row. It’s like the house is breathing.
